Adult Classes

We're the fun group! Come visit the Seekers' Sunday School Class! We utilize the Adult Bible Studies curriculum from the United Methodist Church and meet upstairs in classroom 205, at 10am. We have four different teachers/personalities that rotate the instruction and have wonderful fellowship in a learning environment. Every month with a 5th Sunday we go out for brunch together at various local restaurants. We look forward to seeing you!

The Navigator Sunday School Class follows a discussion-based format consisting of Bible based lessons. Members are encouraged to share their ideas regarding the Biblical topics as we strive to navigate our growth as Christians in today’s world. Contemporary singles, couples and/or parents of Sunday School aged children are welcome to attend. We meet in room 202.

Sunday School class moms connect
There is no set age range. All mothers are welcome. Majority are late 20s to mid-50's. All moms...some are single parents and others are not but the class is specifically designed for Moms. We meet each Sunday upstairs in room #206 during the normal Sunday school hour 10:00a.m. We try to plan at least one monthly activity as a group outside the church and use a rotating teacher’s schedule. We have an annual women's retreat for the church. We have a variety of curriculums. We initially started and used Mom's Connect from Group and there were three series.  We have done about 7 bible studies thus far. We will skip class if we have a mom in need of us listening and sharing. We are a close knit group but always welcome others to join us. We are learning to be better disciples of God. We would love to have additional members.

The Adult Fellowship Class is studying Old and New Testament scriptures presented in the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies. Our teacher, Woody Crook, is a Bibli-cal scholar and historian. He leads us in thought-provoking discussions. Our focus is on living out God’s will to love others and to respond to their needs. Our class supports the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program (COP) with canned goods and monetary donations. We also support the Mile of Pennies program for missions. We meet in room 210.
